As the tech industry moves faster than ever, it is hard for product launches to feel interesting or memorable. The traditional product launch methods, things like stiff product demos or keynote presentations, have grown tiresome and boring.
With the launch of Profound “2.0”, there is an opportunity to disrupt the existing industry standards. Inspired by the new Background Agents feature, Profound will host a 5K run because No Matter Your Pace, We’re Already Running.
This casual, early morning run ends with a matcha/coffee cool down and a short Profound “2.0” product moment. Attendees can receive branded t-shirts and their cool down bev of choice can be served in branded cups.
The visual identity draws inspiration from existing Profound campaigns, the Union Square subways ads and the Marketing Engineer manifesto, and contains a track inspired motif throughout. It also has the potential to expand into a running club, which have become increasingly popular in recent months.
A first-of-its-kind product launch 5K would position Profound as a new breed of tech company.
